On Sunday, the city of Buea came alive with chants, colours, and unwavering support as the Prime Minister, Head of Government, Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute, officially launched the campaigns on behalf of the Head of State, H.E. President Paul Biya.
The event drew thousands of CPDM militants, supporters, and sympathisers, who turned out in force to reaffirm their loyalty to the ruling party and to the man they describe as the people’s champion and the people’s candidate — H.E. President Paul Biya.
Often described as a man of the people and the trusted servant of the Head of State, the Prime Minister’s presence in Buea carried strong symbolic weight. His speech and appearance ignited excitement among party faithfuls, who saw the campaign launch as both a call to unity and a rallying cry for victory.
Sunday’s gathering was more than a political ceremony. It was a vibrant display of the strength, organisation, and solidarity of the CPDM family. With traditional dances, party songs, and waves of party colours filling the streets, the atmosphere reflected both cultural pride and political conviction.
As the day ended in the historic South West regional capital, one message resonated clearly: the people stand firmly with President Paul Biya, and the momentum for the upcoming elections is stronger than ever.
